I think we'll be reamed for 90 mins. Too much pace in their team and we are snail like.

I can't see anything but a compete humping today. Sadly I predict a 4 goal loss and a week of dispair.

Will I make it back to Lime Street for 17:50 after the match?
Obviously I don't want to have to leave early and miss the celebrations after a fine away win

Yes come out the away exit and turn left and go to the very end and Goodson will be on your right, turn left towards the city and hail a cab, but even walking you will get there but you will get a cab on that road

Drive it like you stole it.................................unless a local is already doing that for you when you try and find your car.Knighter10WHU wrote:Any advice on getting out of Liverpool via car quickly after the match? Last time we went up this way for Everton a couple of years ago it took ages getting back to the motorway on that main road out of the city.
Sorry wrong forum.

Re: Liverpool v West Ham Utd: match thread
Surprising myself by not feeling too pessimistic about this one.
Liverpool are a side that have the ability to beat any team in the world that go toe to toe with them but have been known to struggle when the opposition set up more defensively.
Moyes will have done his homework. Don't expect to see us out of our own half much. I think we'll set up deep, pack the midfield and trick to knick it ala Chelsea or Arsenal. It certainly won't be one for the purists.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Hernandez dropped, he'd be a passenger for most of this game. If Antonio plays it will be higher up the pitch.
1-1. We'll score first and be disappointed after the game that we didn't take all 3 points.

I'm dreaming of a Jordan Hugill
comes on as sub at Liverpool
when the ball comes over
Jordan falls over
and scores the ****ing winning goal.
Nailed on.

We are a different team to the one that lost by 3 goals at home to them, earlier in the season.
However, I also said the same thing, before Brighton away...

That’s similar to how I anticipate things panning out. They’ll take an early lead via an obvious dive. We will equalise from an unlikely source (possibly Adrian getting an assist).M*A*R*C wrote:I'm dreaming of a Jordan Hugill

Around the 88th minute, Hugill will decide its about f*cking time we win this, and will start a determined run into the area that will be described by the MOTD punditry that evening as “breathtaking”. As he barges into the box, dragging 3 defenders with him, he sits two of them on their arses, before leaping higher than a Grand National winner to nod the ball past Mignolet.
