How about a statue of David Sullivan? Not as popular as other ideas but it does have the merit of not using a lot of bronze and he would pay for it.

How about a sign pointing to Stansted and Payet running away from the stadium?

Or one of Mark Noble throwing a supporter towards Westfield?

I would go for this, with a link to a kitchen extractor fan so real steam can come out of the top:

Shame the statue of Michael Jackson has already been done....

Statue has to stay outside of the old site, least we will have some history after our move.

They should commission a new statue of sorts for the bowl problem is it will cost more than £20.

Just re-reading some SAB notes from February:
KB was asked re moving The Statue to the London Stadium.

KB confirmed The Statue will be moving to the London Stadium.

Not a significant amount of backlash expected.

KB explained West Ham United owns the statue.

This was then clarified at joint owned with Arts Council.

Cabinet vote will decide the next move.
She's right...she doesn't have magical powers 8-)

Bradys response to this deserves some scrutiny -
The council dismissed a last-minute appeal from the club’s vice-chairman Baroness Karren Brady to hold a public consultation.

In a strongly worded letter, Baroness Brady said she was disappointed the club and fans had not been in on the decision.

She accused the council of going back on a decision to move the statue claiming a deal had already been made with former mayor Sir Robin Wales’s previous administration.

“We have made promises to our supporters that the statue would sit outside our new home. Your decision to keep the statue at Barking Road will result in what will be perceived as a broken promise.

“You should consider this as a risk... in the context of events at London Stadium in March this year”, the letter stated.

It sounds as if she is almost threatening the council here.
As for the non consultation of the fans, the woman really is shameless.

I ****ing despise her.

They want the statue gone, and the memorial garden to be buried.

Basically have nothing of memory about E13.

Basically threatening the council with our bad behaviour. Shameful but not entirely surprising - there's been far too many threats surrounding this club this year but surprised she's been stupid enough to put this one in writing. She really couldn't be any more of a **** than she is. Not being sexist there because her male bosses are utter c**** too.

With the charge outstanding over the Burnley game I may have to contact the FA to let them know they need to shut the **** hole because even our own CEO thinks we are so combustible and dangerous that the council's brilliant decision supported by the majority of us will still apparently lead to us kicking off. We are evidently still evil and a danger to all.

Really want a statue Brady? ****ing pay out for one rather than try to get it for nothing from the place where it should stay for ever. No, don't want it that much? - then shut the f*** up and don't try to use us to threaten the council.

The other issue with the statue is that we dont own any land to put the f**kin* thing on anyway.

Also, she has stated on several occasions that the statue belongs to us and we can do what we want with it.

A clear lie.

Glad it stays.
But still surprised it wasn't auctioned off with all the other Boleyn stuff to be honest.
as others have said if the trio of evil wanted a commemorative statue at the Bowl then bloody well pay to have one designed/ made.
try creating some history rather than stealing it.

I'm delighted the statue is staying put.

How can the club operate on a slogan of "History begins" when peddling tickets for the new place and at the same time seek to grab a piece of reflected glory from a previous era and club administration ?

As for this little gem
Barroness Karren Brady of Knightsbridge wrote: “You should consider this as a risk... in the context of events at London Stadium in March this year”,
Who the hell does she think she is ? Who on earth is advising her to write stuff like that ?

It's a clear threat , an attempt to intimidate and influence a decision .

I can almost see the Guardian headline now

Karren Brady hints she may get west ham united supporters to riot in the streets of Newham

She's a PR persons worst nightmare.

If you weren't in a position to deliver on that promise, then you shouldn't have made it!

Anyway the results of this poll show show once again how out of touch you are with the views of normal West Ham fans.

Couldn't auction it off because they didn't own it...had they owned at the time of the auction I can almost certainly guarantee that it wouldn't have been at the Boleyn (where it belongs) and it wouldn't have ended up at Stratford either, regardless of what they tell us :thdn:
