Representing that you have permission to use another person's card, when you haven't, is illegal. That, essentially, is the crime; dishonestly making the false representation

Using the card with the other person's permission is not illegal, but letting someone do that might be a breach of a contractual term between the bank and the cardholder.

The day the FA and PFA step the **** up and see that all these gambling deals and betting sponsorships so early on a boys life, where if they make a debut at 17, before they can LEGALLY GAMBLE, they don a shirt with "BetWay" on the front.

Is he an idiot, yes, does he need help, yes, will the PFA step up and give it, no.

How could he withdraw £16k without some form of ID?

Can’t help but think he’s got away with one there.

Does anyone know if the pensioner got his £16k back? If not that seems wholly unfair!

"A former Premier League footballer"

when did he play in the Premier League?

On another note, I hope he gets a career ending injury in his next match.

His only start was the infamous 5-0 defeat at Forest in the FA Cup, otherwise known as BigFatSam's finest hour. Enough has already been said about throwing that match live on TV and all that! :fsake:
