Zabaleta is in the best shape of the lot of them. Not bad for a 33-year old who's legs have gone.

Spuds lost a CL at home to Juve (we can but dream) no time off, did extra sessions on Saturday morning before travelling down to B'mouth for the game on Sunday ... day off Monday, then did extra training Tuesday, and planned extra training for Thursday, to practice tactics to cover for their injured players before the FA Cup game on Saturday ...

West Ham .... lost to Burnley .... feck off to Miami for a holiday ....

One's a top 4 side one's in a relegation battle .... I wonder why?

Now do you see why we feel a little bit let down .....

I'm sure you've all given 100% in your jobs and if you've not you've turned down any opportunity for an away day or night out on the basis you wanted to stay in the office and do some more work.

I'm delighted the players are as far away from our moronic fanbase as possible

I understand what you're saying Olly but cancelling the trip and bunking down and training hard and hey, perhaps even getting out into the community and showing a solidarity with their fan base would demonstrate they have empathy for the fans, they understand the immense hurt, they want to redeem themselves so on and so forth....

but sorry mate, these modern day footballers dont give a single iota of fuc... about anything other than their bank account. Each and every one of them.

the club gets relegated, fine... who else will meet my wage demands. Packs and moves.

Lets not pretend its anything other than this.

In reality a lot of clubs do it. I doesn't bother me apart from seeing Carroll there.

The amount he has been paid and actually played for us over the last 3 years, seeing him sun himself does piss me off a bit.

Imagine working for a company where they reward you for sh*t performances with little breaks like this.

Modern world logic eh.

Can I come work for you? Presumably you'll be giving me a 5 night holiday in Miami if I miss my targets all year followed by a 2 month holiday in the summer

The trip is a farce. Have to agree with this. No benefit. I'll sit and wait for the "it brings togetherness" arguments now.

You're part of the fanbase therefore you are a moron, so we can dismiss your opinion as moronic by your own logic.

What happens if I give 70% ... do a terrible job ... miss all my targets ... would you still pay for me to have a nice sunny holiday? far away from all those nasty demanding paying customers?

You got any jobs going?

So the fans are morons and the players deserve a sunshine break in Miami. Right you are...

PS

If I performed like they had I'd be at the job centre, not the ****ing beach.

You have a point. There have clearly been matches where they have not put it all in.

Let's face it, this is the world of professional footballers. Why do players need a win bonus as incentive?

Why does a striker need a goal bonus to do what he is bought for?

It's all bollox in reality isn't it?

All over social media there are now just pictures of the players and not the board... funny how that's happened.
