It's hard not to have a good time in Miami. However, Ginge doesn't appear to be enjoying himself very much. Maybe he was injured after an exhausting training session

Have we ever performed well after a short trip in the sun?

Seem to remember us losing most of the games after trips to Dubai/Spain or whereever

Carroll must have flown over from another holiday to join the squad on this holiday.

Probably heading off somewhere else after Miami.

Hard life this lot have got.

It is clear to me that Southampton are going to thrash us now.

They'll come super motivated with a new manager, while we will be completely switched off after a holiday in the sun.

Not the sort of thing to do when you're in a relegation scrap.

They should have cancelled it, or given it to the ladies team who actually performed well on the pitch and got to a cup final.

That's the most enthusiastic I've seen Andy Carroll or Joe Hart look in about a year

I was in the same hotel as the Stoke players a couple of years ago when they were on a "warm weather training camp". Most of them spent the afternoons pinging a ball around on the beach (never appreciated how insanely good these pro footballers really are until I saw that)

I'm glad ours are not doing the same, they'd all come back injured.

I try to keep a level head and realise they have probably had a big training session that morning, but seeing Carroll really does boil the old urine.

No worries in the world when you are on massive wages and going on a booze up to Miami after conceding 11 goals in 3 games. Annoying to see really, would rather have not seen them photos.

To be fair to Andy Carroll he was probably already out there on holiday and everyone else has just come to join him.

Loving James Collins look. He just needs a knotted hankie on his head!

I don't think that's the point anyone is making. The club they play for is in complete disarray. The fan base is completely divided, they have been playing awfully. I don't think anyone is saying they shouldn't be having a break either.

I think everyone is making the same point. What have they done to earn a trip to Miami funded by the club? Warm weather training has always felt like guff to me, we seem to lose by more after each trip. I'd rather see them all in double training in East London this week after the shambles of the last few weekends. They will still have two more weeks after that before the game with plenty of rest time so it won't affect their game.

Hard to feel very connected with the players when they're off having a jolly while we are in the midst of a fight for the soul of the club.
