Linked with Caballero according to The Sun.

As a back up yes...but not as first choice.

Lazy journalism.

I'd wager that we won't sign one of the players linked so far. I'd also guess that we will sign no more than 1 or 2 that have played in PL before. He won't be coming here with his contacts and experiences overseas to sign up a load of players relegated last season.

I'm sure there will be at least one Sully special but I reckon Pelligrini will have a few surprises lined up. If as I suspect he has been in discussions with Sullivan for a while, he will have clocked the positions we are weak and will have been scouting accordingly.

I think we should take a punt on Jahanbaksh from AZ in Holland. Over 20 goals and 10 assists last season

Some real top talents over there in De Ligt, Lozano, Arias. all who would walk in and improve us drastically

I think we will be looking at creative players to come in. This season we have relied a little too much on Lanzini.

Living in Denmark, I have watched Brøndby play a fair few times. One I would go for is Hany Mukhtar. Way too good for the Danish league. Excellent little player who would be a perfect alternative to Lanzini when he is injured/knackered.

Agreed - Lozano and Arias I really like. Don’t think either have really been linked with Prem moves, not compared to De Ligt at least.

Quite like Ziyech of Ajax too. Top assister in the league past 3 season I think?

Di Marzio reckons Manchester United want to sign Mandzukic, if they can't get him, the backup is Arnautovic.

I think Everton sniffing around Lozano now, due to the move from PSV to Everton of the Director of Football.

I think Ziyech would also be a good option, I think it would be money well spent for sure

Man Utd can have Annie. But value his importance to us last season as much as Tevez in the great escape year. It was declared that him alone made the difference. That meaning his value must be that of the comparison of staying in the premier league or relegation. That said, I'd probably accept just one hundred million

You couldn’t blame Arnie if he pushed for the move, but we need to ask for 80 mill.

They've got enough forwards they can f*** off. They only play one of them at a time anyway.

Reality check: He's 29. Player power holds the cards & if he wants to go, we're too small-time to hold onto him. If his head was turned, we'd consider ourselves fortunate to get £25m. £30m tops.

The saving grace is that he would be expected to play wide, and thus would have major responsibility in defending in a Mourinho team. What has freed him up this year is playing him up top, and being free of shackles to chase back (despite some hilarious criticism of Moyes that he doesn't start with a striker).

No chance. We could demand top dollar for him.
