Or Shaktar are being used, just a thought

So we get a new manager who does not have a clue about our players. So how does he decide who comes & who goes, especially as we have no scout? Who will do it while he settles in? Let me have a guess, he’s short, a liar, skint and tasteless with an overblown sense of capability. Any ideas?

Are we getting a Director of Football? Bllsht. Head of Recruitment? Bllsht. Useless cheap, sycophantic chief scout? Most likely.

We’re back where we started but this time we have only half a squad. Lots to look forward to
.
Yep that’s exactly where we are again. Part of me hopes we will get a top manager and get some quality in, but we won’t, it will be lots of last minute loans and dross which will end up with people playing out of position and another struggle. Yay,

Let's be honest here....

Even with 6 new players coming in over the summer we have no chance of breaking into the top 8. And that's always "assuming" that we get the right 6 (or more).

Lack of funding and employing a good manager last summer was integral as to where we are today. Slav was on a downward spiral and should have gone then. A really good manager, some good investment and solidifying our position was paramount.

Add another 2-4 players this summer on top of what the last guy had "achieved" and we would be in a strong position to maybe get to a semi final in either if not both cups.

Not we're in the position of the proverbial re-arranging deckchairs on the Titanic.

It's that bad. I can't see anyone coming in will be able to get us anywhere other than 12-15th and hopefully by Christmas or early new year so we don't have another panicky end of season.

No chance. He's been linked with Juventus for months.

There should be a link to Bosman's that we are not going to get, e.g. Fellaini and/or Can and the ones that we will likely end up with i.e. Evra and his ilk...

DIdnt Antonio score something like 3 goals in 2017. A shadow of the player he was when Payet was about.

We really have no imagination do we?

Our scouting seems to only amount to ‘have they ever played or managed in the premier league?’

That's what happens when your season is blighted by injuries and management upheaval mid season.

No, thats what happens when you become Billy Big b*llocks and start believing your far better than you actually are and don't put the effort in.

I mean, you're not wrong. But any of those 3 would be perfectly acceptable signings in this instance, (although you'd have to do some due diligence over Heaton given his injury), particularly if Adrian is still here.

Butland is £15m+. We won't spend that - and he's way down on what he was two years ago, performance wise.

Fabianski's ageing and looked poor at Arsenal.

Ambition would be going for Pope (best English keeper at the Antarctic Stadium all year), not Heaton.

Pickford was by far the worst.

What is it with our club and the garbage associated to it ? Ex-WHU, Claret n Hugh etc. It's all absolute nonsense. People may have not wanted Moyes but I tell you what, regardless of his style with the limited squad at his disposal, he has sussed this club and the trio out well and truly.

We are an absolute circus from top to bottom. Everything about the clubs is amateurish at best. We scraped survival this season, I'm off to get odds on relegation next season. It'll be like printing money...
