Spot on...stability please. .although I pressed the wrong button in the vote.-DL- wrote:Stay. I'd much rather give him a long term deal - and see where he can take us.
One thing his Everton side were not, is crap and dull.
Let him have two full windows and a couple of years and see how he gets on.
Getting any manager better than Moyes to manage us is pure fantasy. Nobody worth their salts will come here now - not with GSB.
If anyone can get us to become an attractive stable proposition, it's Moyes.
Unfortunately, this is what WHUFC has turned in to.
I didn't want him here, but I got my wish for Bilic to be got rid of - so wasn't going to be a hypocrite and moan about the replacement.
I still don't really want him here - but I believe he deserves a chance long term.

It seems you are a reflection of myself. It kills me at times, but i'm so determined to get these c**** out of my club, I just have to stop (for now) for my own sanity.Gabers wrote:

Although I do think he is a very good manager, his teams are boring to watch and I don't go to be bored.

No.
He's boring as f*ck and also not a guaranteed "safe pair of hands".

No.
I like the bloke, and ordinarily I would say that is good enough for me, but my expectation is that it isn't in his nature to be anything other than a pragmatic, conservative manager
I don't think it will be a disaster if he stays (and I am almost certain he will) but would rather he didn't. Don't expect many cavalier performances under him, and against the top 6 we will be very poor (esp away)

Setting us up to get a raw at home to Stoke is not what I want to see. I pay good money to watch West am and I don't want to watch that ****.
He also dithers before making subs. Lambert made the positive subs first on Monday and it very nearly won them the game.

I suppose we may as well keep him as not enough else will change to make a new manager worthwhile. The way the club is run, dour, safety first, cheap, lacking a plan he is probably the safest option available.

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]
I remember his Everton team as quite boring.
Plenty of power, and fight.
And never being able to break the glass ceiling.
Neither in the league, nor in the cups.
Was it one good cup run in eleven seasons?

Any manager working for these owners is complicit. Anyone who consistently advocates for footballers who wouldn't get a game at Leicester or Everton is complicit.Beavis Danzig wrote:

only a month ago he actually had the gaul to suggest it'd be the fans fault if we didn't sign top class players after burnley.
how he survived that one in the court of WHU public opinion i'll never know. shows how soft everyone has gone.
It all enables this mediocrity to continue.
It should be obvious that it all starts at the top. We're already up to 5 managers in 7 years. This same cycle of underinvestment continues with the manager copping for it. It's Fagin and Scrooge.

I'm fine these results mad. Let me ask anyone who is Moyes in...
Would you have taken today's David Moyes when Slav was appointed? And have we fallen that far in 3 years since? Next level?

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]
Close innit!
I voted yes, sadly, by that I mean, I think he is not for us, but if we continue to underinvest as the board has, he gives us more chance at keeping safe. How far have I fallen, where I am looking purely at safety rather than the joy football should bring me, safety over entertainment. For that reason, until the board have gone, or change their philosophy I'm out.

The board are unable to deliver next level. By getting rid you are trusting them to make the next hire.JustJoe85 wrote:I'm fine these results mad. Let me ask anyone who is Moyes in...

I voted unsure BTW.

I don't disagree evil, but that is exactly why to my mind the board are still getting far too easy a ride. If we are satisfied with 2 draws and Moyes in charge then Sully is laughing
