From the same source which said that Charlie Austin had no ligaments in his knees?

So basically...
We won’t get Rafa because we won’t pay the compensation.
We won’t get Pellegrini because we won’t pay the wages.
We won’t get Emery because he “doesn’t speak English”.

Bilic was 4th choice. Moyes 5th so no real shock.

About on par with our transfers

Sullivan said 3 days ago he was “going to get it right” this summer. Now here we are, 2 days later with no manager and not happy to pay the wages of our top managerial targets.

Exciting times gentlemen.

I still think left to get on with it and given a reasonable budget Moyes would have done well next season. Oh well.
This is the thing though - no manager will ever get an opportunity to build anything under this shower. Bilic had he been backed would have done well, Moyes, even Zola IMO did a fantastic job despite the conditions and squad he had.

"We don't sack managers" they crowed.....

I bet we’ll end up with none of them.
Deep in the bowels of the the bowl DS is already taking steps to identify and recruit the manager he believes can take West Ham United forward in line with his ambitions......

"Rafa you know you've always been my number one target, no question about it, so i thought ....whats that? Who? Fonseca what about him?.....hello.......? hello......??"

"Manuel me old mucker! Didn't i say you'd be my first call.......what about Rafa? who? Paulo well that was taken outta context.....hello.....? hello.....!?!"

"Unai baby! As soon as Moyesy left the show i thought i know who's my number one targ.......hello?.....hello!???"

"Moyesy!!! The Moyesenator!!!!.............hello!??"

I’m assuming spend a week trying to convince Newcastle, or Pellegrini to accept less money.
Then get stuck towards the World Cup in talks with a new name.
Then watch that name join Leicester.
The employ Martin O’Neill.

If the answer is no, they won't end up here.
OK , I've just put a tenner on Brendan Rodgers , Sean Dyche , Slavisa Jokanovic and Marco Silva and a £5 each way on Graham Taylor for good luck .

Bubbles' Watford rule is uncannily accurate.

I know he's getting the smoke blown up his ring by Everton fans but Fonseca is a proper Watford gaffer. Don't @ me.

They have a real chance with emery. But they'll lose him because they'll be too busy buggering about trying to get one of the other two. By the time they've given up, emery will have been snapped up by someone else. Same way we lost bacca because we were busy buggering about with lacazette (if my memory serves me correctly)

So harsh, I don't want him to stay, but he did his job and should be thanked and certainly not slagged off. :?

Few people in the media are actually picking up how that Fonseca hasn’t actually turned us down yet. Shakhtar have offered a new deal to him but he’s told both clubs he’ll take a few days to consider the offers. Told Sullivan he’d have an answer on Thursday supposedly.
