As much as I love STB, it's not the most riveting read.

It's a little more up-to-date, IIRC.

Merci...

Will probably give it a miss......If UTJ isn't suitably impressed, I doubt I will be either

I think we hold him in the same regard.

Is there a chapter titled “West Ham Manager” where he basically goes “urrrrr ya know. I did alright, I had a better win percentage than any manager in the clubs history.”

The end.

Actually glad to hear his bio is a bit uneventful. True gent.

Admit to reading me Dad's copy of it and not getting very far. First page 'I don't like the taste or smell of alcohol' you know you're in sensible land. I suppose some of us want to read about trouble, bitterness, shocking revelations and humourous banter. Couldn't put the 'Gazza' ones down ('cept when he got too navel-gazing), ditto Mark Ward. Maybe off-T but it's like comparing Tony Iommi's biog with Ozzy Osborne's. Sure Tony had a tale to tell, but Ozzy had me laughing from the first page.

99p I'll give it another go.
