Adrian won't be losing sleep on this transfer I wouldn't have thought.
Strange opinion, Swansea fans think he’s the absolute nuts and was the only reason they didn’t finish bottom.
Adrian is very much under threat.

Flappyhandski.
I'm not sure he's an upgrade on Adrain if I'm honest. Fingers crossed he will prove me wrong.
Hopefully he's afforded more of a welcome by our faithful that Hart was.

Hopefully he gives us more reasons to be cheerful than Hart did

Hope we have signed the more recent Fabianski than the Flappyhandski at Arsenal. Good luck and welcome.

My name is Luk Fabianski,
Come from near Mosqui - (the Russian pronunciation of Moscow rhymes with Fabianski.)
Great signing. As others have said, Adrian very much splits opinion on this site, Swansea fans are all of the opinion Fabianski is a top goalkeeper.
Either they have lower standards or we’ve signed a good’en.

That's my view.
Adrian is a much better keeper, for me. Lukasz is solid, able competition but I'm a bit puzzled over why we bothered with him.
I sincerely hope Adrian isn't leaving as we would need to go out and get another even better keeper if he is.

Not sure I understand this one.
He's not a bad 'keeper, but not much better than Adrian & is 3 years older
Can't see why we'd pay 7m for a 33 year old 6.5/10 'keeper when we already have
a 30 year old 6/10 'keeper
Still, at least he's a vast improvement on 2/10 Joe Hart

I think Hart being on loan , with a cynical eye towards the WC soured him more than if he had signed on a perm for us.

Agreed.
A good keeper, no doubt. But 'a clear upgrade on Adrian', as suggested by some, he is not.

Which is the important thing as, at the moment, that's who he's replaced.

upgrade or not, we need a proven keeper at this level if Adrian is homesick, or merely sick even.

Actually, that page just shows that the keeper who faces the most shots on target tends to make more saves. I notice that he was way down at 15th for % of shots saved. Still think it's a good signing though. A choice of 2 decent keepers is better than a choice of 1 decent or 1 ***** keeper.

I can't see Adrian hanging around, he was pushed out for an inferior Randolph then pushed out for an inferior Hart, now hell be pushed out for an inferior flappihandski,
Couldn't blame him if he left and if he stays in the Premiership hell be strengthening one of our rivals, also we will be back to one keeper, one injury or suspension from disaster.
If I was in charge I'd have pushed the boat out for a much better keeper or actually spent a decent amount of money on a promising younger keeper as no2

Honestly, I dont think £7 Million has been spent on competition for Adrian. I suspect Fabianski is going to be a guaranteed starter in August (injury permitting).
The age thing is not an issue. There are numerous examples of older keepers having superb twilight years (which incidentally, are years Fabianski is yet to reach), and some are still playing to this day. Almost every World Cup squad contains at least one keeper aged 30 or over, and numerous keepers are in squads north of 35 years old. If italy were there, Buffon would be. If Ireland were the, Randy would be there. if Wales were there, so would Hennessey. The keeper's age is much less relevant, and shouldnt be an issue.

Can't say I'm enamoured with this, to me Adrian is as good if not a better keeper and 90% of keepers get worse after 32 and quite quickly.

Is that a fact?
