Magic left foot... can see him scoring a few goals like that.

Agree BH.
Thought he looked off the pace a bit second half. Improving all the time, which is the positive. Premier league is like no ther for physicality. Certainly knows where the back of the net is though!

The boss said as much as well, not ready for the physicality of the Prem league when he turned up

Colours never run wrote:Been calling for his introduction from the start and I finally got my wish. Great performance flying down the wing going forward and defensively.

I really do like the power, pace and guile we now have in abundance across the front line Arnie, Yarmolenko, Antonio, Anderson and even Carroll when he'll eventually be wheeled out at some point. Everton were turned inside out in the final third to the point they had to sub Schneiderlin before half time!

In all fairness to Scheiderlin I think he was subbed as not quite with it due to his dad dying in the week. Probably should not have started.

Excellent player but having both him and Anderson on the wings worries me when they come at us. Both can be a little too composed at times but hopefully once they get up to speed with the league that will be less of a worry.

Worked his nuts off yesterday and deserved the two goals.

Reminded me of Chris Waddle in his pomp yesterday. Outstanding, especially his work without the ball.

this will be a hard game for him as he has to track back to help zab out and yet still get up the pitch to help the attack.
can see him being subbed after 70 mins hopefully after scoring another brace ! Antonio on to run them ragged and score the third in a great 3-0 win.
bit early for a beer so must be dreaming !

yarmolenko is showing signs of being a useful player for us but needs to get fitter. today we will see if he is up to it against one of the form teams

There’s a chap that stands behind me that must have said at leat 8/9 times ‘he’s only got one leg’...now I’m usually a very placid chap but so help me god. Does shaquiri or any other player that blatantly favours one foot have it mentioned every time they touch the ball?

He is one footed but he is a proper player, actual ability, be interesting how often it ends in goals or assists but the ability is in his locker is unquestionable

Thought Chelsea were worried about him today - every time he got the ball 3 of them made a beeline for him. Some of his runs off the ball were really intelligent to create space for others.

quality on the ball. Shocking miss though sadly, we thought it was in (to the side of the goal in the upper tier). For a bloke of his height he doesn’t look good in the air....

Miss was poor. But it was our only clear chance which makes it worse.

The bloke cares. He’s a clear threat. I like him. I la la la like him

Absolute monster, cult hero in the making, bit one footed but if he swaps sides with Felipe during the match we'll catch a few teams out, Ukrainian Bale

Playing on the left he might actually get a cross or two in! :)
