Yes he was shocking, but Perez and Arnie up top offered absolutely nothing today, not sure why he started Arnie if he wasn't 100% fit (which he clearly wasn't) would've been a much better decision to bring him on off the bench in the second half. No movement from the front two at all.

Snodgrass was just as bad.

Noble, Ogbonna and Diop horrendous.

He wasn't the only one to have a bad game, the whole team did

One really poor game from him since the Tottenham home game and we are talking about why he doesn’t play for a top club?

Unbelievable...

Simple fact tho. If he Played like he did against Southampton every game he would be at one of the top teams

Fact is he doesn’t .. we were told about this when he signed.. when he’s on he is amazing.. when he isn’t quite on he is a 6/10

He hasn’t been on an inconsistent run though has he? He’s had about 2 poor games alongside 10 great performances.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not blaming him. Just thought the worst performance I've ever seen* from a Hammer was worth discussion.

10

A top team would have taken him off at half time against The Saints.
He was that poor in the first half, same as today.

Hazard, Ozil, DeBruyne, Salah, Kane, Aguero, Pogba. Just a few examples of top players at top clubs who don’t put in at least 8/10 performances every week. Everyone has an off week, even Ronaldo & Messi.

I don't think the ref helped him either. He got fouled a few times and the ref gave nothing.

Bardsley kept leaving stuff on him and getting away with it. His challenges were soft but making Anderson know he felt something every time.

He wasn’t even the worst performer on the pitch today, let alone worst performance ever.

He was well roughed up today by Bardsley.

I wouldn’t be worried about Anderson, I’d more be worried about our naivety when playing physical in-your-face teams.

After the last few weeks teams know to look out for him a bit more, if they focus on him, we need Arnie and others to exploit the extra space

Good throwback work by Bardsley today to rough Felipe up. Wood and Barnes also seem to come from the 1970s.

But when he's good he is really good. The trouble is it's either one or the other at the moment and nothing in between.
