Today just like Burnley away the opposition were up for it and it was a bit cold so he can’t be bothered. Not world class, a bang average player with the odd bit of brilliance. Have a look at his stats in 2019 in the premier league it’s tell you everything. 10 games no goals and 1 assist

"Bang average player" listen to what you're saying

He's a great player at times, but 40 million great, no way.

Don't think I've ever seen a player just kick it straight into an opposition players legs more than him. Run at them, stop, square them up, kick at legs, repeat.

Yeah I'm sure he is, but it doesn't work. He just gives the ball away. Something is wrong with this team away from home, and a player who is trying to nutmeg players all the time doesn't help. Stop the flash **** and try and beat a man and put a cross in or have a shot. I can barely remember him doing either in the last 6-8 games.

Tbf the bloke probably has the most nutmegs in the league this season.

Obviously a bit pointless if it’s not helping you win games.

Completely. He usually does the nutmegs on the half way line. These ones I'm talking about are when he's in the final 3rd when it actually counts for something. I must have seen 30 + times this season where he just passes into a players legs from close range. Frankly, he's been ***** for a while now.

He looks knackered to me. Don’t think he’s been **** for ages (he ran rings around the Newcastle defenders and it wasn’t long ago he was nutmegging Milner & Robertson) but he’s nowhere near his November/December form right now. Disappointing.

He's running on fumes.....like most of the squad because we did eff all in the winter to strengthen relying on returning injured players who also look half dead.

Really? It’s not like we’re still in the cup or the Europa League and having to play twice a week every week. He’s at peak age so really should be able to cope with the amount of game time he’s getting.

He's okay...quite good at times, especially against bottom 8 teams...but he's some way off peak Arnie or Payet.

Full back gave him a clump early in the game, just like Bardsley did at Burnley.

I think he is massively overrated. For those who disagree name me sone away games where he has justified his price tag.

I will start AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao. They are in League One....

If we don't have forwards who can stick the ball in the net, players like Anderson, Lanzini and Nasri will struggle to impact the games with skill and clever passing alone, there's only so much they can do, only so many defence splitting passes they can make with no willing runner, only so many tricky runs they can make, if there is no one able to take up a good position in the box. If Anderson and Lanzini can't find the net either, we rely on set pieces once more.

Anderson looks shot of confidence, he shouldered so much of the burden throughout our injury crisis, shouldered the role as our most important and creative player, whilst Arnie was craving the riches of China, and now he looks burnt out.

For all the good work Pellegrini is doing, it'll soon be undone if we continue with strikers who can't score, stay fit or be bothered.

We seemed to be ticking along nicely until the transfer window opened, with all the drama and the injuries, we have struggled to score goals from open play since.
