And they sent back one of the blocks to City. Which meant we had to change our tickets as they'd already sold some.

Ok and thanks.
One of our party got told when he tried to enter at L3 that the ticket was no longer valid and he had to exchange it at the ticket office for a L2 ticket.
Sort of ties in with the post on this forum from the guy that was told by our ticket office to return his L3 tickets.

Good to see the club still taking maximum allocations, if necessary by having the option to return tickets or have extras to reach the maximum.
Man Utd will sell out but until recently they would have made excuse of Man City not selling out to not take full allocation at Man Utd.
Well done ticket office.

the screenshot about the ticket details for man utd is interesting as that is NOT the same screen grab as the one that I took at 2.35pm which showed tickets starting at 37 points and made no mention of any extra tickets.

I find it highly unlikely that ticket sales will start at 30 points for man utd away with a smaller allocation when chelscum starts at 36 points.

anyone else have a full screen grab of the original posting of ticket details for man utd - I have photo on my phone which doesn't have the top part of the ticket details about number of tickets

I smell a rat that once they had issued the original ticket details and people started moaning about the small allocation they revised the notice

trying to get tickets at 30 points will mean no chance of getting thru on the phone

By starting it at 3 pm Friday it means everyone with 30+ points will have the whole weekend to buy tickets online. They'll have a pretty good idea whether they should extend to 3k tickets by Monday morning. the risk is it could sell out the initial 2500 that weekend - then have people on Monday am with 29 points nabbing tickets...

No one has mentioned that they are selling the tickets for Chelsea and Man Utd at exactly the same times for each priority point?
Surely that will cause more website issues?
Also, I was hoping that getting a Chelsea ticket if I manage it would get me an extra point to help towards getting a Man Utd ticket but I will have to apply for both and at the same time?? What should I prioritise?
I have 25 points at the moment.

Surprised no one has mentioned in this thread the fact they announced as part of the new season ticket price announcement that they will be offering two PP's per game next year if you enrol in the home cup scheme.....

This is an absolute disgrace... and is in theory bribing people to enrol in the Home Cup Scheme.

Surely this is something the WHUISA could get involved with?

How can someone earn 2 points for a home cup game, whereas somebody who could go to an away midweek game up north (Like Wolves and Man City recently) be rewarded with just one point?

Just because they want your money guarenteed for home cup games... they know that they would have x amount of home cup tickets already sold and could charge what they like for it. In theory if every home season ticket holder enrolled in the scheme, when they negotiate the prices with the visiting team, they could say "look we have 50k tickets already sold at whatever price we say... lets set the ticket prices at £40 each and we'll both make a killing, and you can go back to Accrington with your season budget paid for"

the ticket aspect of the club website says that this about chelscum tickets

The first 90% of tickets sold out to Season Ticket Holders with 25 or more Priority Points. A ballot will be held for the remaining 10% of tickets, open to Season Ticket Holders who have yet to purchase for this fixture, at 2pm on Wednesday 20 March

when I logged at 2pm to eticketing there was no ballot there, not a shock though im pleased to say it is now there

however i'm also interested that for man utd it says tickets on sale to 27 points but it should be 22 points shortly to change to 21 points. wtf is going on
