Cardiff ain't got enough. Definitely going down imo.

Watford's squad is just a collection of random footballers from around the globe with a new coach every 6 months, they'll struggle.

Huddersfield look a bit weak too, not sure they've done enough to guarantee goals & clean sheets.

Brighton have a good manager in Hughton but not sure they'll score enough.

Burnley will stay up but I think they'll only secure survival late on.

Newcastle are a mess, Benitez is the main reason they stay up. Goals could be a problem for them.

I'm not overly impressed with Southampton or Bournemouth either so wouldn't be surprised to see them dragged into a scrap.

We have to be careful ourselves, we've got a good squad and manager but our first 7 fixtures are very tough overall. Patience will be needed.

I'd be surprised if Huddersfield and Brighton aren't in the mix.
Cardiff should be nailed on to go down again.

Cardiff look to be the weakest of those coming up and it is tough to argue against them being bottom.

I am not convinced by Fulham and their scatter-gun approach to deadline day either. I do rate their manager though and think they will have enough about them to hang around for a few seasons. Same goes for Wolves, I am not buying into the hype around them as a top ten side, but they will be better than five or six teams.

Huddersfield were very lucky to survive last season and were woeful for the second half of it. I'd expect to see them cut adrift with Cardiff come April/May.

Southampton were another side very lucky to stay up so it is hard to see them not being in it again this season.

Cardiff and Huddersfield. With a close fight between Fulham, Southampton and Brighton for the last spot. I also think Watford will struggle and could join that scrap. Same for Bournemouth truth be told.

Bottom Seven...

Incidentally, I think the top six will be Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs.

That leaves us in the middle seven, Everton, Leicester, West Ham, Burnley, Newcastle, Wolves, Palace.

Think it’ll be another year where anybody from the top 6 down can get sucked into it. But most likely candidates for me

Watford - last few seasons they’ve done some good business in the summer window but haven’t recruited well this year. looked poor in second half of the season and are now without Richarlison.

Huddersfield - great for them to stay up last season but can’t see it happening again with that squad

Cardiff - pretty much the same squad that was expected to be fighting relegation last year. Colin’s a championship manager and always struggles in the Prem

Outside bet on either Burnley or Newcastle getting sucked into it if the former gets off to a bad start with fixture congestion from the Europa League or if the latters manager decides to walk before Xmas.

Teams I think will struggle this season are:

Burnley (Possible European jaunts and a small squad)
Everton (don't believe the hype)
Us (I'm a glass half full kinda person)
Wolves (same as Everton, don't beleive the hype)

So any 3 from everyone except Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Tottenham.

This predicting lark is easy.

I would be very surprised if Cardiff and Huddersfield don't prop up the Prem come May next year. As for third bottom that's much more difficult. I think anybody from Newcastle, Brighton, Bournemouth, Southampton and Watford. Can't see Fulham or Wolves being any near the bottom three.
