Leicester Will be no where near the relegation places. They will end up 11th-8th.

Still think it will be Fulham, Huddersfield and then 1 from Cardiff, Palace, Burnley or Southampton. Most likely Cardiff.

Similar odds to them winning the title the other year?

(I'd imagine they were probably longer)

Couldn't care less who goes down with us apparently well out of it. However a few years back Sheffield Wednesday were top half at Xmas, went into freefall and got relegated! That couldn't happen to us could it!

I guess we can rule out Man Utd now.

Norwich were 7th in the prem on New Years Eve 1994 and ended up getting relegated.

I think Millwall were 6th one Christmas and ended up getting relegated on the final day having not been in the relegation zone all season, cue their fans smashing up Portman Road...

If all clubs amass a similar amount of points in the second half of the season, as they have done so far (over halfway), then the bottom seven will have less than the fabled 40 points!

I haven't compared past seasons but to me that must make the current bottom third quite a poor bunch?
29 points to be safe.

Not it means the top 2 thirds are very strong.

Cardiff, Huddersfield, Fulham.

Southampton will be best of the rest, just below Newcastle

Tenth with 28 points, three wins required to guarantee safety...and it's only January!

Cardiff and Huddersfield look ominous but fair enough to them they both massively lack quality, Fulham whacked 110 mil in the summer if they go

Cardiff and Huddersfield lack quality all over the pitch, but both compete well. Teams like this normally find February really tough, so I'd place them with one of the other 4 or 5 strugglers. Fulham have it all to do but have some decent players. I'd be surprised if it concerned us this season, but you never know!

Huddersfield now 8 points away from 4th bottom

Fulham 4 points now off 4th from bottom

Soton winning has now (with them currently losing) brought the Barcodes back into the equation.

gaps beginning to form now and when those start to open up it's almost curtains

Fulham look too brittle, Huddersfield have very little to offer but endeavour and Newcastle need to add some goals from somewhere.

having said that, the Barcodes equalise with a "thumping header"...

(Chelsea have no one on the post due to zonal marking.....)

Huddersfield need a minimum of 24 points (equivalent to 8 victories) from 16 games.

Its not going to happen.

Fulham look like they haven't really bounced under Ranieri.

Quite a few others will have squeaky seasons, but I think Southampton lack quality to the degree that they may sink back into the bottom three with the others.
