Fmgod did you ever put that bet on?

Huddersfield are gone, they need a miracle to survive. I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish with less than 20 points. Fulham also look bang in trouble, it doesn’t look like Ranieri has had much of an impact. He’s been very hit and miss in his managerial career, I think this will be the later unfortunately as I quite like him.

The third place is up for grabs. I’d probably go for Cardiff as their squad doesn’t even look very good for the championship, but they do seem to have a good team spirit. Burnley will also be in the mix, however they seem to have turned a corner since battering us.

Palace are in desperate need of a striker but I think they have more quality than the other teams down there, as do Southampton. Southampton’s new manager seems to be making progress, whilst Newcastle’s fate lies in Rafa’s ability to squeeze every last drop out of a very average squad.

Big relegation scrap in front of a 75% full ground at Cardiff.

Now that Hughes is gone, I hope Southampton survives.

How much will be enough to survive? Reckon 37. Impossible to say though.

No, I am absolutely certain we will win. (Just like I was about Watford and Burnley) :(

I think the barcodes will go. They can't buy a goal, only 16 scored - less than Cardiff and only just in front of Huddersfield.

I think Huddersfield and Fulham are gone, it's take an amazing turnaround for either of them to stay up.

Southampton aside, the rest of the bottom six are f**king awful, absolutely terrible. Fulham and Huddersfield are down, no question, it's up to Cardiff, Newcastle and Burnley to see who can be bad enough to join them. I'd like to see Newcastle go down again and have a Derby with Sunderland in the second tier.

There’s always one team with the capability of blowing up. I hope this Arnie situation isn’t the catalyst. I hope we don’t go into freefall. I think we still need three more wins.

Honestly, there is about as much chance of us winning the league as there is of us getting relegated.

Cardiff are currently above the relegation zone with 19 points after 22 games, assuming the teams at the bottom continue to earn points at the same rate, we would only need 33 points to be safe. It’s highly unlikely 40 points will be needed to stay up, whilst it’s also highly unlikely we won’t get at least 45 points this season.

Personally I’ll be surprised if we don’t get over 50 points. For some context, we have 16 games left and have earned 27 points in our last 16 games, that would leave us with 58 points.

We're 31pts from 22 games, but you could argue the first few games were very much "team in transition" so you could say half a season, and 60 points is the target.

It's achievable for us - injuries and departures permitting.
