Thanks griff.
Thats probably correct, although I thought I read it recently and that lot havent been active since the march got cancelled have they?
I assume then that the 50k on shelving is complete nonsense then.

didn't realise we had a say in the music. why is it we've got a chelsea supporter belting out the most played out punk song of all time before every kick off instead of the (other) mighty irons? steve harris is as west ham as they come and we play a stone's throw for their first gig.

Facebook group still active, slagging off WHUISA and KUMB plus claiming credit for everything. Don't seem to publish details of any committee or agenda and respond to slightest criticism with threats. So still active.

I must admit that I wondered if that group were involved in this WHUSB farce.

To make the away supporters feel at home, the bars at the away end at Brighton's ground serve beer that is local to the away club playing that day.

Corney's asking if the locals get to try the away local beer in the home end as an alternative to the local Harvey's.

In fairness, the farewell activities were imo decent enough( bearing in mind the bulldozers were warming their engines up while the players were in the showers), and the T shirts were a nice momento for kids etc.

However when weighed against a huge churn in STH's it's clear the club and the SAB have serious matters to address.

How for example does the club plan to recover those lapsed supporters, what can they do to tempt them back , and just as crucially deter even more supporters from baling out.

Does the club believe the 12,000 or so who are believed to have dropped out all preferred the scary mascot after all ?

Or could it be something else ?

Go along to a WHUISA meeting and ask him; he's normally in attendance.

Nope. The 'talk' was in March, so 'something happening' in 9 months time, makes it this coming December.
They could have been referring to Father Christmas turning up, of course.

The obvious answer for me, is not about supporters groups, but getting rid of this lying, thieving ownership and MD that has made fans not only turn its back on a club they love but football in general.

The reference was to the upcoming court case between WHU and LLDC.

I think the club want to add another 9,000 seats to the bowls capacity.

Perhaps they want to announce, a bit like a Mother tells a child leaving home that they'll always be a place for you here at home, the club wants to write to the 12,000 STH's who have jacked in since the move that there will always be a seat for them, you know, just in case........

Meanwhile, the LLDC, who are playing part of Dad, utter under their breath, you must be joking, he eats us out of house and home

Brady strikes me as the type of mum who’d be back dating your house keeping all the way to the night of conception to be paid before you were allowed to leave

Thanks Wembley. I think the only confusing part of my question was my 'on ' instead of 'in' typo.

As well as local to the away team brews, they also alter the lighting to represent the appropriate away team colours in the concourse too. Just shows the sort of things you can do. As Carlton said though, you can't control the uncontrollables.

Email from the club this morning asking me to join the new Official Supporters’ Board. They've obviously been reading this thread and want to contribute:

A huge number of improvements have been made following recommendations from their consultation in the past, including:
An increase in the number of matchday Supporter Liaison Officers and Accessibility Shuttle Buses
Heritage displays and concourse shelving being installed at London Stadium
Developing the Supporter Services online helpdesk and @WestHamHelp twitter account.
However, it was felt that the process needed to be expanded and improved, with a new WHUSB representing the wide fanbase, with an elected chair and vice-chair,

Elected by whom?

From within the candidates that put themselves forward for this.

Also I have seen it pointed out before online but having a "junior board" for between 11 and 20 year old's. The wants and needs of an 11 year old and a 20 year old are vastly different, as well as the legal activities those 18 and over can do
