Theme from Z Cars is an old scouse "folk song" isn't it? - "Johnny Todd" or something?

Newcastle: "Road To Nowhere".

Yes, Scouse folk song with nautical theme. Also Z Cars was filmed in nearby Kirby and the fictional town was based on it.

Still, Bubbles is the best, although the version we play could probably do with a modern update.

Surprised the dildos haven’t talked James Corden into doing a version

Surprised and relieved

Modern? Leicester have been using Post Horn Gallop since the 1940's... I'm pretty sure some of the others have a long history too.

Talking of Mke Oldfield, Pompey come out to his "Portsmouth" song.

They don't run out to it, but pre match Palace always play the theme from The Long Good Friday. One of my favourites.

Trouble with the bowl is that the "entertainment" provided by the DJ is poor and consists of too many promotions such as holidays in florida, London stadium BULL,ETC

I like the countdown bit, highlights of previous matches against the opponents, London`s calling and bubbles.

needs to play more hammers music less stupid interviews on the pitch which you cant hear or see.

get some old style music pumping to get the crowd going. all too sterile and like an event rather than a hammers home match.

It shouldn't be allowed, and I refuse to let them take ownership of it - I hope the copyright owners find a way to sue the clubs for Billions!!

Used to be the Spuds walk on tune in the 60s and 70s.

Although it's not a walk on tune, how long has twist an shout been our '2nd' tune? I remember it being played at Cardiff when we beat Preston and thinking 'yeah, we play this a lot now'. And why was it adopted? I approve by the way :)
