Hmm, would that call into question competitive integrity? Your partner is through on goal, you have to wipe them out and so forth.

Also, Chelsea schlaaag etc...

Sadly it wouldn’t. And not because there’s no gay footballers, but because they’re too worried about the impact coming out would have on them. Even Hitzlsberger waited until he retired. I hope this gives some men the courage to come out, it shouldn’t really be an issue at in this century,

Didn't one of the GB women's hockey team play in the Olympic final in Rio against her Dutch partner?
