watched him agaiunst Lazio very slow and ponderous would not survive in the premier league now. we have enough slow players !

good to see a west ham shirt in the Lazio end !
You clearly haven't been watching French football regularly if you think Payet has been poor for Marseille.

.

He's been fantastic since returning to Marseille. As for the Lazio game he only played 20 minutes...He has 6 goals and 6 assists already this season. Him and Thauvin have pretty much been involved in everything good about Marseille since he returned. Would not survive in the Premier League now? I think you should check his stats and watch him again mate...I won't say I watch loads of French football, but I cover some at work, and the handful of times I've watched him this season he's still running the show.

Thauvin and Payet working with Pellegrini is a beautiful idea, I'm not sure how they would work with Arnie and Anderson though.

Ozza

no mate, Carroll.....

according to *x&x" we need to exercise a 2 year option on the same money....

another 2 years @ 85K plus plus for someone who hasn't even kicked a ball THIS YEAR let alone the time in general he's missed...

I think it’s time to sell Ogbonna, Antonio, Chicharito, and Masuaku and replace them with young players who can learn from our established senior players and a loan or two. Joe Worrall, Dael Fry and Ezri Konsa are 3 young centre backs who will one day be full England internationals, we should do everything to sign at least one if not two of them. The same for Tom Pearce and Lloyd Kelly at left back.
I would also try to do a straight swap Antonio for Wan Bissaka as it seems like Zaba will be gone at the end of the season.

Read this morning Nasri is keen on the move to link up with Pellers once again, but only on the proviso we pay him £100k a week.

I can't imagine any way Nasri gets £100k a week unless it's in China. A 31 year old who has played 8 games in almost 2 years, no chance he's in condition to play full matches any time soon, and by that time the window will be open and younger, likely better players will be available.

I hope so because a 5ft nothing, 5 stone nothing, skiny little player with no meat on his bones is not the type of midfield player we need. What we could do with is a couple of big strapping 6ft 6" guys in there who can put a foot in and cover the ground

We need a couple of big bruising bastards in that midfield. It's as clear as the nose on your face

Actually thing someone in the mould of Nasri is exactly what we needed today, I'm not saying i think we should sign him but a player of his/Lanzini's style is what we were crying out for today.

we moved Anderson into the middle I thought towards the latter stages....

I agree a bit with Puff in that even with Noble, Rice is the only height in the midfield..... Snodders God bless him isn't a giant, Noble is not that big and neither is Obiang.

We could do with someone of Kouyate's height (which is why I think that Moyes played him) but with better distribution....Wilshere doesn't strike me as huge either.....
