He’s been banned from any access from Citeh since 2012.

As I said before, whether he’s right or wrong, he’s at the top of a pile of journos whose only real interest in football appears to be raking up stuff on the business side.

Comes across as one of those sneering middle class types who loathes any link it once had to being the people’s sport, which would be fine, IF he wasn’t a top SPORTS editor at a corporation paid for by the public.

I have a hunch that what he said about the Leicester fella is a decent summary of what he actually feels about everything to do with football. It’s all just about chasing the money and “banter.”

That article is what he’s been doing while his ruddy faced BBC chums have told him to stay quiet for a few days while the story goes quiet and they ignore it....

Telling that unlike any other article of that ilk, they’ve disabled a comments section.

We pay this absolute ***** wages.

maybe so, but who in the UK reads Der Spiegel ?

and it's an ongoing story not as if it's 3 years old......

not sticking up for him, merely pointing out that it's the beeb's job to report on stuff, and if it's not their findings then certainly to let people know what's what......

just look at virtually any newspaper's sports reports, they merely almost reprint what's in someone else's paper.......

hardly anyone it seems now comes up with new stuff......

in fact a lot nick stuff off of here (and/or sites like it)

Whilst he's giving Citeh heat, he's leaving us alone.... for now.

What a rat.

I don't see how or why he can be criticised for the Man City article. It's valid journalism - the sort of thing the majority of us would love to see written about our owners.
