one of the most diabolical Euro Cup finals ever seen...

That was against Waddle's mob, Marseille (I think). But in the previous rounds the Yugoslavs were sensational.

Serbs were sensational, mate. The war already started when we won that title. Had to play abroad next year and never got the chance to properly defend the crown.

Until now.

Out of 14 players tonight, 13 are local boys, Red Star fans (including Marko Marin, who is a Serb born in Germany).

The majority of those boys have average weekly pay of 1000£. The guy who scored two goals was bought for 250k £. They will have the chance to earn the money when they go abroad. Until then, they play practically free for the club they supported from the stands.

These are true football heroes. At least tonight: https://youtu.be/ddupnH1gDzU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

despite their massive tally, the only time liverpool have impressed me this season was when they smashed us, and we did everything we could to make it easy for them.

they just don't have that coherency in attack like they did last season. zeljko buvac (klopp's long term number 2) walked out in the summer. most thought he was the brains behind the operation and it's showing.

That makes a lot of sense. Klopp hardly strikes one as the sharpest tool in the box.

Has the Eindhoven goalkeeper got magnets in his gloves, coz everything has gone straight at him and when he does put his massive gloves on the ball it seems to stick like ****ing glue

I am loving BT Sport trying to make a real case that Spurs could still finish in the top 2 of this group.

Sorry but they have no chance. Barcelona and Inter Milan in their final two games. Not going to happen.

Liverpool are undefeated in the league after 11 games and after one poor result, Klopp and his side have had it? Talk about overreacting...

Spurs in the champions league? They need a few to make up the numbers. Bit like arsenal used to. And Sturm Graz.

The footballing equivalent of extras.

I'm actually glad they won. Makes their exit in the last game all the more sweet....

North bank is chanting **** you, while South bank is chanting Liverpool. It takes a second for sound to reach other side of stadium, so the pauses seemingly kill the rhythm. Only seemingly, though: we perfected timing in order for someone who is in the middle to hear it properly. Here is the link to video how that sounded for Klopp: https://www.telegraf.rs/sport/fudbal/30 ... edao-sever" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The applause at the end is from East and West bank.

I don't care what anybody says, you make a ground hostile, pump up the volume, tear into them from start, score early and don't let up, any visiting team will usually capitulate early too
