Thanks everyone! Hopefully we're gonna meet in Europe soon enough.

One more thing before I let this go and concentrate on Huddersfield and the next Red Star opponent...

I've managed to find out why Liverpool lost the game. Few hours before the kick-off Klopp met with FK Partizan (small, insignificant local team you'll probably never hear about again) board and they presented him the cursed cape of loosership:Image
Just when I thought this can't get any better. :D

That's strange from Klopp, and a bit antagonistic as well. :? Well done Red Star fully deserved win.

I switched off at that.
Sterling had a load of grief in the summer, what a great opportunity to get some good publicity.
He should have told the ref there was no contact therefore no penalty.

It’s up to the officials to make decisions not players.

They have won 5 of their last 11.

10 wins from their 16 competitive games this season.

Must be fun being a Manchester City fan. Hit 6 at the Weekend and have 6 again tonight. 5th time this season they have scored 5 or more goals, 3rd time they have scored 6.

Man United totally outplayed all night away to Juventus, now winning 2-1.

I misremembered the stat, it’s 3 wins in their last nine against Cardiff, Huddersfield and Red Star.

Got to give Mourinho massive credit, turned it round recently, 13 unbeaten oopss bar that 1-0 loss to Juve but that's not shameful at all. Dropping Lakkaku and going for a more fluid forward line seems to be reaping the rewards.

said a week or so back, they might not be playing the type of football their arrogant tosser fans want, but he's steadied the ship, won games when to be honest, like this one, they didn't deserve, but ...

beat the Blue Mancs on Sunday and he'll be awarded the keys to Manchester..

Yeah, I don't understand why Man City scored the penalty if they knew it wasnn't one. Reports say, Pep complained to teh 4th Official that it wasn't a pen, then he's quoted after the match saying, "We don’t like to score in that situation."
So why did they? Why not just put the penalty wide for a goalkick or throw in?
I've seen YouTube clips of a team that let the other team score one back after a similar mistake. Not Man City though - Jesus even cabbages in his run up.

They even had a second penalty to do the right thing. Nope, scored that one too.

Because Jesus wanted to end his goal drought.

I'd like to see a player whose fouled another player in the box with no penalty given own up and tell the ref it was actually a pen.

File them all under "Not gonna happen".
