They're right, but how times change though. I can remember their lot singing "Is that the Rio stand?" to us, which they found funny at the time because they had money. Or at least they thought they had, when they found out they didn't, then everyone had a chuckle.

I no longer watch the pre/Halftime/post match analysis any more.
Straight to the kick off then a cuppa at HT back for the second half turn off at the final whistle.

Works out well for me :scarfer:

But its not though really is it?.

Never before has access to so much football been had by so many. Ultra HD footage, cameras at every conceivable angle. Pre shows, after shows, after, after shows.

World class F1 coverage like nothing before it.

The latest movies on demand in HD and Ultra HD.

Thousands of Box Sets of all the latest TV programmes.

Dedicated channels to pretty much everything and anything.

I subscribe to the lot and wouldn't be without it.

(I have not been paid for this post.....yet)

Agreed, don't watch any of the agenda driven cobblers the "pundits/experts" give out, switch on at kick off, disappear at half time, watch the rest then off.

I don't mind the punditry at times but don't really need Jamie Redknapp giving insight into how David Silva is "literally" really good at football.

But it costs you a small fortune to pay for all this coverage and at a cost ,in the real world, of inconvience of the the true football supporter. Tickets should be cheap as chips and the going supporter should come first.

Better get used to it Taff.

Robots will be doing most of our jobs within 10 years, it figures that that our entertainment will also be 100% digital.

Slightly off topic but I get the full package (except BT sport) for around 40 quid a month. I save that just by watching one or two games a month at home instead of down the pub. So seems reasonable value if you watch the F1, golf etc.

If Sky hadn't come along, another opportunist would've taken their place.

Personally speaking I've never purchased one of their products and almost certainly never will, but each to their own.

Nor me, and I make sure that their sales people know why every time they approach me in shopping centres.

Just being consistent. I'd consider it hypocritical to believe they destroyed football as a working man's sport while helping them do it.

Sky haven’t ruined football, it’s the clubs who initially took up their bid and now continually sell out to them.
