We're coming off the back of a good December and a great win and clean sheet against Arsenal.

Bournemouth would be 19th based on their form over the last 10 games.

Only one way this is going to go.

2-0 win for the cherries...

We'd take an absolute hammering if we put that line-up out.

I think I tried to point that out...................

I see now that it's Bal/Oggie despite Balbuena needing surgery and being out for about 6 weeks...might as well stick Wilshere in CM while we're at it....and Lanzini on the bench....

Get a hold of the game and see where Marko's head's at before thinking about bringing on Nazri/Hernandez.

I'm going to assume that Hernandez can't play more than a half considering how long he's been out so:

---------------Fab-------------------
Zaba-----Diop--------Ogbonna------Cress
----------------Noble---Rice------------------------
Snodgrasss------Nasri--------------Anderson-------------
--------------------Arnautovic-----------------

depending on score, I'd bring on Chicha in the second half (for Snodgrass or Nasri), and play him just behind Arnie, or if up multiple goals, I'd take off Arnie for Chicha and Nasri for Antonio, let Antonio do the running and let Chicha knock some rust off.

I'm told that Bournemouth is a fine seaside town, but everytime I've ever been it's been brass monkeys and wetter than Lily Allen. Forecast is below freezing so I'm going to charge the hipflask.

c-d

I'm more with you than Doc on this - Doc, Obiang over Snoddy ? not for me.......more industry and the possibility of a goal from the Snod-man over Obiang.

as I have said...no place for Arnie for me..last week a less than stellar performance - not much industry and we're going to need it..

maybe we'll get "Arnie's head isn't quite right from Pellers." this is the week I think we find out where Arnie is at in terms of staying/going......

Seen Bournemouth swamp us in the middle before now. I'd have no problem with Snodgrass over Obiang but feel we need 2 CM in front of Rice to start with at least.

On that subject, I thought Obiang was off to Florence and if there is any truth in that I would stick with Snoddy.

Gotta start Mad Mark though. I reckon we would be able to see the type of game he was going to give after a few minutes then decide and hook him if needs be.

This I wanna see. Zaba and Cress/Arthur playing as wing-backs of course!

* & * are adamant that Pellers isn't letting anyone go (unless we can get the right price for Arnie - sub text it seems) so my guess is he's here until the summer.

plus imvho 11M Euros is peanuts. 15+M Euros would be nearer and that's being tight.

he's played loads of PL games has been here a while and although on the periphery lately has started loads.

we'd be hard pushed even get a Fizzy player replacement for that price.

Tell all the wantaways, Arnie, Chicha, Obiang, that they're going nowhere 'til the summer so earn their wages. End of story. Simples, and Arnie's brother can do one!

easier said than done these days mate...

not much you can do if they want away. with Obiang my guess would be (and perhaps Chicharito also) "Look, you know our injury problems. They'll be fixed in the the summer so if you stay until then we promise we won't stand in your way - even if we get a lower bid than we think you're worth." I reckon those two are professional enough to say, "Fair enough but we're holding you to your word."

Arnie - that ain't gonna work. if the bid for China is good enough, we're doing him out of 150K per week and that won't sit well I imagine.

I expect this to go:

a) Unchanged team
b) Unchanged team concede a couple by half time
c) Substitutions bring us back into the game.

Arsenal this season 'suit us'.
Our team that started last week 'suit' this lot imo.

the home game

This is our fourth recent league game at Bournemouth and all have been in the winter. August would be nice for next season. Boxing Day last year was wild weather. My wife & I were going to walk into the town for dinner but it was so windy and wet that we paid a fortune to eat in the hotel. Good meal mind you.

I'll be staggered if anything else happens. I think we might struggle with c), though.

Calm down everyone.

We are not getting doubled by Bournemouth this season.

No chance.

get off to an early start for a change bang a couple in and watch them go falling down anywhere around the penalty area - and for Eddie Howe to complain bitterly that his players don't get any respect and protection playing for a lowly club......
