FAC4: AFC Wimbledon 4-2 West Ham Utd (26/01/19)

Post by prophet:marginal »

--------------------Adrian

Antonio - Diop - Ogbonna - Cresswell

Diangana - Obiang - Rice - Masuaku

----------------- Hernandez
------------------Perez

0-2

If Andy starts, it is a signal that we cannot be bothered with this competition, imho.

Think Wimbledon will hit a rich vein of form and we'll lose narrowly.

Might make some of the older original Dons misty eyed for how their lot used to play in the 80’s & 90’s if he does, Cuenc.

Worrying times when Pelboy starts giving it the “he needs match fitness” line and then we’ve THIS game!!

it'll take him all the rest of the season to get match fit at this rate.......

and if he needs game time, why was he yanked off at h-t the last before game (was it) that he started ?

I would have to honestly question Pellers if AC starts next week.........

Adrian in goal but same line up as Bournemouth BUT Snodgrass to start and Antonio up front for Carroll.

Diangana and Silva on the bench.

I honestly don't think that ANYTHING Carroll might do from here on in will kick start his season.

he scored a header last time out against a lower league team again after missing what 2 easy chances. and look what we got yesterday.

scoring against a lower league team might work well for a Diagana say, but not for an Ex-England International.

he's not even being put in the shop window. after watching him play the last few starts, were I even a modicum interested, would have packed up my pen and note book and left after 30 minutes. if I even stayed that long.

Sam had a great point - but he took it to the extreme.............

even to the extent when we were winning he was afraid of losing.......

but there has to be a starting point....they say in the NFL that "offence wins you games, defence wins you championships."

bit of truth to the statement......

look at goals scored and goals conceded at the sharp end of the table.....

I’m confident Pel won’t be starting with Wor Andy for this one

We’ve played them once already, “bobbly & direct” didn’t work then either

I hope Fredericks isn't anywhere near the team, can he even run at the moment? Other than that I like the look of that team, as long as Arthur doesn't f**k about too much. Wimbledon are a really s**t team at the moment, we should take care of business, we should.....

I almost agree with the original team proposed by PM, but with a few changes:

--------------------Adrian

Antonio - Diop - Ogbonna - Masuaku

Diangana- Obiang - Rice - Anderson

-----------Silva------Hernandez-----------

Subs: Fab, Cresswell, Zabaleta, Noble, Snodgrass, Carroll, Arnie (hopefully).

Agree with line up...possibly Snodgrass for Anderson to give him a rest
