Midweek Fixtures 12/3 13/3 14/3

Postby brothernero on Tue Mar 12, 2019 9:50 pm

Man City score 3 goals in the 1st half v Schalke. All 3 goals go to VAR with the 2nd goal VAR check taking nearly 3 minutes alone. Yet only 2 minutes of stoppage time added. Remember that it's also meant to be 30 seconds added per goal.

Mid-week games 12/3 13/3

Postby stu1 on Tue Mar 12, 2019 9:55 pm

Scores from the first leg of tonight’s games.
Juve 0-2 Atletico
Man City 3-2 Schalke

Juve are currently 1-0 up at half time, after you know who scored. Man City predictably 3-0 with for Aguero and another for Sane.

If Juve score another the Atletico game will get very interesting. If I had to pick a non English team to win the tournament I hope it comes from this tie, as both have lost 2 finals in recent years.

Man City are one of the favourites for the CL this year, but i'm still going for Barcelona.

Mods please merge with the other thread.

Ronaldo does it again, just scored a second thanks to goal line technology. What a player he is, so much pressure on him tonight and as usual he’s delivering at the ripe age of 34.

Leeds going well at Reading, 3-0 up.

Sheff Utd also winning but down to 10 men, need Brentford to make the extra man count.

5th VAR. This one will get overturned. Sucks the life out of the game.

Meanwhile Frank Nouble gets sent off, Cristian Montana scores for Port Vale, and Joe Powell scores for whoever he plays for. (Northampton?).
