Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 West Ham Utd (27/04/19)
Saturday, 27th April
KO: 12:30
Gonna go one of two ways - a heavy beating, or we'll sneak a win.
Depending on what mood the officials are in...

Spurs will be prioritising the Champions league semi final on the following Tuesday which could work in our favour (but probably won’t  )

Our final away win of the season will also be the most welcome.

I’ve got a ticket in their end for this one via Spursy family.
Not sure how I manage it if we win - self combustion/f*** it/wait til back near Blackhorse Road
I’d accept 0 points from all our other matches this season to turn this lot over.
Please please please Pel let me get what I want

We've run into some form at the right time. It's in Pellegrini's hands.

I am much more confident than i was a couple of weeks ago
I think we have played very well in the last 2 and half games
I am not predicting us to win, but we certainly have a chance if we play like we did today

They have far more to play for than us, so we can play with a bit of freedom and expression, so let's just give this a go

Lord knows, it would be the first time (this season that a match officials f**king stupid, ridiculously incorrect decision hasn't cost us badly)..e17 wrote:I’ve got a ticket in their end for this one via Spursy family.

Actually, they could well have their thoughts ahead on that match. What an opportunity for us to win at their gaff..shame about the match officials being there..EastEndIRON wrote:Spurs will be prioritising the Champions league semi final on the following Tuesday which could work in our favour (but probably won’t

They’ll get a dodgy penalty and / or we get a perfectly good goal ruled out.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if we play quite well and get undone by a brilliant Son goal.
Still, I’d very much enjoy a win.

Ok , I've just had my entrails out and I predict ......
Tottenham Hotspur 0 West Ham United 2
Tottenham Hotspur 0 West Ham United 2
Re: ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur V West Ham United: Match Thread
Aren't Spurs scheduled to play Brighton midweek or have they rearranged the tie? If it's not going to be rearranged, they could have Brighton before and Champions League after, with us nicely sandwiched in between.
Seems like a good time to play them, but we should expect a motivated Son against us given he's suspended for the first leg against Ajax.

First team to win away at the Emirates (and was about this time of season in 2007 IIRC?).
A very tempting double feather in the cap here should be an incentive and a half. And having seen the pretty decent prices for beer in their new gaff, our lot might be able to cram in an extra noise-inducing pint beforehand even for a lunchtime KO. (They've got Beavertown ale for the American IPA lovers out there!).
I expect Son to score as he's developing a bit of a Lukaku syndrome v us, so might have to overcome at least one goal.
What the heck - 1-2, we come from behind with an equaliser from Perez (who curls himself into the shape of an Arsenal cannon in front of their kop), then a Noble pen to win it in injury time, cuing him to moon their lot and show them his new tattoo with the date of our win inked on his buttocks captured in glorious technicolour.
