Gianlugi Buffon

World cup winning, ballon d'or runner up goalkeeper. Has an option for another year at PSG. Sure old sullers could tempt him to play for the hammers after a chat at suller towers.

Bacary Sagna: On 8 August 2018, Sagna signed with Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer for the remainder of the 2018 season, with an option for 2019.[29] Although the option was not taken up,[30] Sagna subsequently signed a one-year contract to stay with the club for the 2019 season

Gareth Bale loan deal would be the ultimate Sullivan vanity deal. £10million loan fee, selling our highest earners to subsidise his wages for the year.

300,000 grand a week and we'd be lucky to get 25-30 games out of him. Always picks up injuries. So for that reason i reckon it's a cert

I'd take him as back up to Fabi all day long, although any more than a one year deal would be madness given his age.

"England International Andy Carroll has been training with us over the summer in an attempt to get fit. He's been in red hot form and really impressed our coaching staff with his passion, enthusiasm and fitness levels. We're pleased to secure the services of one of English football's finest aerial talents on a 5 year deal. We believe that, on his day, Andy is unplayable and we are pleased to welcome him back into the squad."

Thats far too close for comfort, Sulli will be copying and pasting that right now to try and avoid his usual typos.

Has Tevez retired yet what a combination those two would make up front on their day... on the other 364 days we might need some cover from fit and motivated has-beens mind if they exist.

Eidur Gudjohnsen. Would need a full pre-season but I reckon Dave could talk him back out of retirement.

Diamanti is still ripping it up in Serie B, Sulli could try low balling with a £50k offer.

Bruno. A Hero's ovation as he left Brighton on the last day of the Season. Claret and Stew followers report seeing David Gold's helicopter hovering over the Amex. with a short, stumpy guy, wearing a Russian hat, clinging to a ladder below.

Bruno has just retired from Brighton. He's only 38, so I think could be tempted back to the game with a 5 year deal.

Going for Buffon would be silly. He has no PL experience. Rob Green would be a much safer bet.

I gather there's a quite good Spanish goalkeeper who's been released by his club. Takes a good penalty too.
