I can't believe Upson is going to end up winning Hammer of the Year by doing, well, nothing.

Like Ashton, he's become a club legend by sitting on his fat arse being injured while others have had shockers on the pitch.

I think what he's trying to say is how many MOTM performances has Upson got this season? (1? v Man U)

How many has Green put in? Home v Boro? Away v Pompey? Citeh home in the Cup? + 3 penalty saves + 7 clean sheets.

Upson has been steadily consistent and deserves a top 3 placing but Green has done more for me.

he has done a very good job filling in for us this season and he is to be bigged up for that i agree.

i liken CC to when you play kids footy and give out the "most improved player" trophy at the end of season awards. that is what he should be getting.....not a player of the year award!!

for me it would actually be cole, before this season he was being booed and called CFC, now it's like he's a completely different player, yes he can still improve but he was are only fit striker (not including camera) for a long time. he's developed a lot in half a season, whilst he may not be in our future plans, he's performed when we've needed him to.

mccartney, upson, green and mullins also have been key players for us this season.

In the last few games Freddie has started to look decent, Deano while still a big player for us is still a long way away from full fitness... Cole, what a difference a bit of confidence makes.
For me though it has to be Linda, solid and reliable all Season.
