Struggling to post while page struggles to load

Postby last.caress on Fri May 19, 2017 11:15 am

I don't know if it's an advert or something holding things up or what but I've just posted a very brief reply in the "The Next Gig You're Going to Attend" thread which literally took me over twenty minutes to complete because whatever I was typing kept seizing up (during which time the spinning circle thing kept popping up, up in the page tab, indicating that something on the page is still loading. I think that's what it indicates, anyway). Somewhat typically, I'm experiencing no problems whatsoever (so far) in writing out this post, but the problem seems to come and go; and only ever on KUMB. Right now I'm on my Android tablet (Chrome browser) but it happens on my laptop too in Windows 10 (Chrome browser there as well).

Cheers, gentlemen.

I have the "loading wheel" always up too, at the moment (firefox on ubuntu), but it's not giving me any issues. for now.

As you're using Chrome's browser, you can often see what's holding up things while the spinny thing spins by looking at the bottom left corner of the window. If it says "waiting for...." that's the culprit.

See my reply in Whitters 'Banner Ad only showing..." thread.
