Disappearing Posts

Not sure whats going on but in the last few days I have had at least 5 posts that I've clicked submit on, then rather than waiting for it to appear at the end of the thread have then clicked return to forum, only to find the post has not been posted??

I'm not saying this is what happened in your case(s) HD, but sometimes - especially on a busy thread - someone posts just
before you hit "submit" and, instead of accepting your post, the forum system gives you a chance to read the post and edit yours, if required, before re-submitting.
I know from my own experience on KUMB and other forums that it is all too easy to miss the message.
