I'd just like to reiterate my actual gripe.

I'm not bothered about the layout of the site, how it appears on a mobile etc, that's all tolerable. The advert banners, no issue, often they are of attractive women, occasionally with their breasts out and once they were even for footballer figurines. Good times

I can even forgive the occasional popup on the home screen.

What cannot be tolerated much longer is that I can't actually read what I'm typing here due to the fact the page has jumped to the bottom of the screen to show me a video advert for center parks (this time) which will not allow me to scroll or click away from it without immediately jumping back.

Not sure what browser you are using but I had the same thing. I use chrome. I had to block Javascript for the KUMB url which resolved the issue. It's the Adplayer plug-in/malware which I cannot figure out how to remove.

Re: jumps to advert at bottom of page

I keep having the same problem, I reload the page and it works for a minute or so, then it just repats.

guineapig wrote:This morning I am confronted with an ad that has taken over the whole screen and makes the Home page unreadable. I can't even find an X to close it down. This forum has to be the worst website I use for intrusive adverts and it is getting worse. I have pop-ups blocked within Edge so what's going on. It must be a security weakness within the code. Please sort it out guys

I also get this one as well. It's bloody frustrating having to reload a couple of times to try to get to the forum.

Apols for the inconvenience. Spoke to our ad folk who promised me this'd be sorted, it hasn't (or only was very briefly) so I've removed the offending unit for now.

Yes, I have been regularly plagued by the screen shooting down to the advert at the bottom of the page. Hope it can be resolved :)

Not having the issue today, but have had it consistently for the last month and a half. It happens on all of the browsers I've tried. Chrome, FireFox, IE, Opera.

My page keeps scrolling to the bottom and a very annoying, and loud, ad will play, nothing I can do to stop it. Especially annoying as I usually check the forum whilst having another window open for watching football/cricket etc, so I have to close KUMB or I miss the action of whatever else I've got on.

It was doing this a few weeks ago, stopped, but has now started up again and is making the site unusable.
