Banner Ads have resumed their attacks

Postby WCpete on Wed Aug 16, 2017 4:32 pm

They're back. This time it's the top banner that's the culprit. It expands to cover all of the forum links and three quarters of the open page beyond that. Why can't these ad companies be content with the space they've been allotted? Taking over a web page with your ad will just ensure that I never use their product or service.

A few hours later and now they've moved on to taking over the entire page. Grrrrrr.

This is getting extremely annoying. The top banner is making navigating the site very difficult. The top ad banner extends well into the actual page. If it's a page where I'm typing in my post message, the ad covers all of the various forum links right down to covering the thread title. If I'm trying to look at a web page in on all of the forums it will also cover the first several posts. Or, I simply get a blank page that features only the ad. What do I do here? Again, it's the same across all browsers and it only happens on KUMB.

HEEEEEELP.

I had to go with ad blockers on my PC, the site had become largely unusable for me. Used Fair Adblocker in chrome and it worked a treat. My phone is becoming more of a problem for the ads now though.

Its the only site I have trouble with, unfortunately its also my fave lol

I've been using ad blocker to no avail. It's still happening and this is still the only site it happens on.
