HMV Video Advert

Advert on the top banner doing it's usual job of scrolling the screen to the top unrelentingly.

Never had one on the top advert banner before. Usually it's along the bottom.

Who in the name of Baby Jesus goes to HMV anymore? Most people download, stream or order stuff off Amazon/Internet. I can't remember the last time I even went in one of there stores let alone bought anything from them.

A dinosaur of a store that will be extinct from the high streets in 10 years!

I still buy physical copies of stuff - admittedly normally direct from smaller labels, but if it’s a bigger release I’ll pop into HMV.

Just to reiterate, I wasn't hoping for a conversation about HMV, although that's cool if it happens.

The advert is irritating and making the site unusable for me.

I bought a bundle of stuff from their website a few days ago. Delivered in 24 hours - Amazon were talking two weeks and stock issues. Also bought new vinyl from them.

On topic - yep, advert servers can be a proper chore.

They said it would never last....... 10yrs ago.

I still buy the occasional t-shirt or CD in there. In fact the queue was massive only last week, so some people still use it, and quite often by the looks of it.

Still have it today, as well as some guy peering over the top of his glasses with some quote in French for the UN

Yup - same here. It's fine on my mobile (iPhone), but whether Chrome or Explorer I'm getting the same issue on my laptop

Try doing a forced refresh (Crtl + F5). It's a long shot and probably won't work but you never know.
