These are not necessarily the best players in the world and harsh to leave out neymar, Messi, hector herrera, hummels, , lahm, Kroos, Khedira, but these are the guys I have really enjoyed watching in their positions.

There isn't a thread for this, so I am posting it here. I wonder how many of the qualifiers this time round, will make it to Russia 2018 ? I don't think there will be many changes, all the usual ones will be there, even including Brazil, as the other South American countries, who don't normally make it, like Peru and Bolivia are rubbish. Where I think there might be changes of the guard, could be from the African confederation. Normal qualifiers like Cameroon, and Ivory Coast have aging players and might lose out to Egypt, Libya or Tunisia, next time around. There might also be a couple of surprise new ones from Asia make it next time round too, possibly at the expense of either Australia, Japan, or South Korea and I have to say, I think that would be good to see. Don't be at all surprised to see Iraq qualify in 4 years time.

Navas, Lahm, Vlaar, Marquez, Rodriguez, Schweinsteiger, Masche, James, Robben, Muller, Messi.

I think Costa Rica's defendive record was more due to an excellent system and an excellent shot stopper thus no CR defenders.

Can't believe no-one a team includes 50m luiz

Watching him loose position in the oppositions box and walking back has got to be one of the most infuriating things I've seen. - the c*nt barely spent 45 minutes in his own half the entire tournament.

Navas

Lahm
Yepes
Hummels
Blind

Mascherano
Schweinsteiger

Rodriguez
Muller (****)
Robben (****)

Sanchez

Bryan Ruiz deserves a mention which is ridiculous given what I'd seen of him at Fulham and the old man Klose.
