Hoax made in S. Korea. Based on true fantasy reporting from the 2010 World Cup when N. Korean media reported the team as winning when they were getting beat.

They made the quarters in 1966 though, not bad eh?

Beat Italy at the Boro. The housing estate which is where Ayresome Park was has a plaque etc commemorating the game. IIRC the surviving players from the N Korea team came over for some sort of ceremony in the middle of the estate. V bizarre.
