Hodgson hasn't named a squad in 5 years?

Nobes was the best player on the park yesterday

If Cress, Antonio or him played for Arsenal they'd all have half a dozen caps by now.

The FA decision making machine was corrupted at Eton.

How could Antonio have had half a dozen caps if he played for Arsenal? There hasn't been an England squad announced since he started playing for us!

So when Chambers and Walcott signed for Arsenal they suddenly became better players ?

Antonio must have been a great player at Forest...not just for us.

There must of been a reason we shelled out a few bob...

Has anyone actually done a team based on the 11 actual best 'on form' players yet?

Antonio couldn't even get in our team for 6 weeks. People on here were saying he was a waste of money. I don't think anyone in a million years could have envisaged the impact he has had since he got his opportunity. By all means have a go at Hodgson if he doesn't call him up moving forward but not sure he can be blamed for not picking a player from a middle ranked club in the Championship!

Surely the issue is blinking obvious?

A player who shows a bit of promise at Spuds is straight in the side.

A player signing for Arsenal gets straight in the squad.

A lad makes his debut for Man Unt, scores twice and is championed by the press.

It is of course fair to say I am not a football manager, but it cannot be good for the long term prospects of the national team to pick benchwarmers and kids from Arsenal and Liverpool over pros who play week in week out.

Butland

Clyne - Cahill - Smalling - Cresswell

Noble

Henderson - Barkley

Alli

Vardy - Kane

If you're going on form I'd say that is fairly accurate.

Possibly Drinkwater for Henderson?

I would have Hart, Rooney et al in the side. I am simply fed up with players who don't start for their club sides getting in the team.

Bloke is a perma crock and will probably get injured stepping on the Eurostar.

He shouldn't be anywhere near that squad.

The only way that Wilshire will be "fit" for the England squad is if he doesn't actually play any minutes for
Arsenal (as he's bound to get injured - again).
Still, think how fresh he will be!

I wouldn't trust a scouser as far as I could throw him.

Ive watched him play plenty recently and he has looked good in those games.

Noble
Ali
Barkley
Vardy
Kane
Drinkwater
We're all in there from top of my head.

The other centre back and right back escape me. But it wasn't any of the established players
