Italy v Zlatan
Today's fare features my favourite team of the tournament so far. If Zlatan is on song, this could prove interesting. Although historically, this is traditionally a low scoring match, I think Italy should have too much for yet another one man team

Good game this so far, Sweden the better team. The ref is annoying, favouring the defender every time (for both sides) playing right in to the Italians hands.

managed to disappear into a small conference room... so far, not worth the hassle really, boring game, no chances either side.

Zaza on for the Italians, see if he is any better than Pelle (though he got no assistance at all)

Like last nights game, very very boring. Zlatan hasn't looked good in either game so far.

Ibra misses from a yard (was offside but he didn't know it). He looks what he is so far in the competition... old (for a footballer)

Eder scores with two minutes to go. They know how to play tournament football do the Italians.
Not a great game though.

Well, to be fair to him, he has done a lot more than Ibrahimovic in his two games. I'm not saying Eder is the world's best striker, but he has done a ****load of running and work. For me he is an essential part of their line up.warp wrote:sweden collectively fall asleep and end eder finally does something in 180 minutes of football.
The ref was an absolute shambles by the way. Italy should have got a pen, and Sweden should have got 2. Totally unnoticed. These days football is more about pulling & pushing instead of actually playing football. And the refs (and public opinion) just go on with it like it's normal.

From the BBC live feed:
Sweden remain on a point in Group E...and they still haven't had a shot on target.

Probably the best place mate, coz Sweden are no more than a Conference team. Another ****ing rubbish team bites the dust

i haven't properly watched this game so i might be a bit too harsh, but last game he was really poor and when immobile came in it was like having one more player.Belgian Iron wrote: Well, to be fair to him, he has done a lot more than Ibrahimovic in his two games. Re: Italy v Zlatan
Ibra gives it the big one in press conferences about keeping everyone in suspense about where he might go next....at this rate his options might become a bit more limited as he's starting to look his age.

Ive been to today's game and met the Hawaiian Hammers. Didn't realise they are from Canning Town. They came dressed as ABBA with a ABBA Hammers flag too. Looked fantastic. If I knew how to post a pic of them I would.
