France v Switzerland (Payet on the bench)

I wouldn't mind our genius having a quieter game today.

I don't. Watching him play is thousand times more entertaining than Sunday night at the London Palladium

We have a West Ham player on the verge of becoming the outstanding star of an International Football Competition.
Outshining the winning teams of the last five major International tournaments, as well as an arrogant lanky Swede, an arrogant Portuguese Adonis and a granny shagging English superstar and you want him to have a quiet game.
Madness, effing madness.

Damage is done Dave, everyone understands, a quiet game won't stop it. But he's ours, and for as long as he's ours I wish him nothing but show-stopping match-winning joy.

I wouldn't be suprised if they rest a few of their important players tonight like Payet, Kante, Evra etc.

Super Sub Payet v Switzerland.

Looks Like DD is a bit off the Martial bandwagon, as he is on the bench as well.

This is all about Didier saying to his critics of which there has been many, "I will pick who I think is best".

For me its all too narrow. I haven't been impressed with Griezman or Pogba. Didier was bigging them up before the tournament.

I can understand Cabaye getting a game but why leave out your form player in Payet?

Play your strongest squad, win the group and start the momentum.

The Swiss have been bereft of ideas with nothing up front, a bit like a Vogue model.

Pogba looks far better as Cabeye is happy to sit and win the odd ball and distribute it, whereras Matiudi, Pogba and Kante are all really athletic runners but with Cabeye just happt to sit infront of the back four as the pivot Pogba can bomb forward

Don't understand resting Payet really, I'm utterly clueless how Lacazette and Ganerio didn't get in+
