It is. It's actually worse than the Wales/NI match.

Both should be eliminated on the evidence of that 1st half.

I've given up.

There's no escaping it, this has been a pretty **** tournament in the entertainment stakes so far.

Two of the dullest games ever today.

100%. Was hopeful that the knockouts would banish the memory of some really attritional football in the groups but not much to get excited about so far.

Did Nani just try to shoot with his shoulder from 12 yards out? If I were the mgr I'd deport him for that.

Croatia seem to be playing for penalties, after beating Spain, why? I don't get their attitude to this, if Slav was on Itv still he'd be going ape ****.

This little Sanches has the physical tools to be a player. Balance, strength, quickness. He surfs tackles like Messi does. He hasn't had a good match but you can tell he's got.the tools. If he's got them between his ears as well and gets proper coaching I reckon we'll be hearing from him one day soon.

Quell surprise extra time, what a non-event. Croatia have not even tried, the fearlessness of the Spain game is a distant memory.
