I was in Lyon to see the Belgium vs Italy game, Belgium's first match and they were REALLY poor in that game. Looked like a team of individuals with no clue how to play as a team (a bit like England!). But they have come on leaps and bounds as the tournament has progressed and were superb in the last game. I think they will be too good for Wales. Wales have to produce another 'Russia' performance to get anywhere near them imo.

But good luck, they deserve to be where they are but can't help but think this is about the highest point they can get to.

Depends what version of Belgium turns up. If Wales get on the wrong end of another Eden Hazard masterclass, they're ****ed. On the other hand, that might have been a one-off and Belgium will somehow contrive to be a lot less than the sum of their pieces.

Belgium is doing a Germany, playing better in the knock-out stage than in the group.

They'll tame Bale, and Lukaku will score. Twice.

They got the better of Belgium in the group, it's do-able. Good luck to them.

Belgium tore Hungary apart and are a great passing side but I didn't expoect Wales to play so well against the Russians and I didn't expect Iceland to beat England last night .
We'll see what happens after 90 minutes .

Now that all the other countries from the British Isles have gone out of the competition I wonder if our Prime Minister will be asking the same question he did a few months ago :) https://www.thesun.co.uk/archives/footb ... e-the-noo/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or if Wales play above themselves like they have been over the last two years. If Wales win it won't be down to Belgium not turning up.

Wales got results against them in the group stage but this is the biggest stage and this is where Belgium's superior class will see them victorious. I think a 3-0 win for Belgium too

I think 'superior' class is harsh. Wales are a proper striker, and maybe a proper right backaway from being a top class team imo, they've got a decent defence, hugh standard midfield, and a world class player in Gareth Bale. Imagine putting an in his prime Craig Bellamy in this team, they would be terrifying.

Makes me feel even worse for Jack Collison, without that injury no doubt he'd be there and be starting.

Following their over the top and classless display on Monday night, I would like to see Belgium crush Wales.

Yeah, I was genuinely behind them to do well after we went out, but having seen that video I hope Belgium put a hatful past them.

It's not really got anything to do with you though has it.

It's the decidedly classless Welsh players we hope lose.

I must admit I was rather disappointed and embarrassed by the attitude and response of the Welsh players to England's defeat by the Icelanders - I can only presume that words may have been exchanged by both sets of players in the Group Stage and they reacted to that - but that's pure guesswork on my behalf .

As has been said. It's not about you or the Welsh people. In fact it's the moron who decided to film it and publish it on the internet who's a twonk.

Don't get me wrong, I am not going to lose any sleep over it, but my support of Wales has diminished. I wonder what the English born Wales players think of it all.
