Why is the top tier at one end covered with a flag stating "Germany"?
Also all the stadium announcements are done in English.

It's disgusting that before many of these matches we need a moment of respect for the newest act of terrorism. Get your act together human race. Enough is enough.

Bit of a slow burner this one. The previous attacking attitude of the Italians seems to have evaporated. Could be a long night this one.

First 20 mins and Germany giving the Italians no room to operate. They keep a beautiful shape and they cut access to the channels so effectively. We'll see how good Conte is at the half.

Too much tactical defending play in that first half. Open this sh*t up.

Absolutely! It´s like chess and Italy is the master of tactics. I´m afraid we´ll lose

That was the best piece of defending I've ever seen.

Has there ever been an entire team on yellows?

Ugh. It had to be him didn't it.

And there's that insidious white stripes song.

Well taken goal by Ozil .

The Italians had been defending so well I thought it would have to go to penalties , hope the Italians manage to get something back .

Wonderful save from Buffon as I type !

Conte needs to do something. His players look knackered.

I find it odd wanting the Italians to win but I do. Muller has a face you'd never get bored punching.
