Screw it. Bring Giroud to the OS. He'd be a 30 goal scorer with Dimi at his side.

The biggest difference between France and us is that they have far better players and far more of them. And England are not capable of playing attacking football to anywhere near what France are capable of - when it comes to international football we don't have Payet. Or anyone close to the likes of him, Pogba, etc.
No if France had stood around like England did they would have conceded from that throw - okay it was after the second goal this time but that's just the way it worked out this time. When they are comfortable playing the ball around against a clearly tired Iceland side is easy but the point is they earned that by their set up and defending whereas England just fell apart.

To put things in perspective France did not have it this easy in their other games in this tournament and did struggle to break teams down as have many.

He has wasted a lot of glorious chances in previous games where Payet has put it on a plate for him so I'm not convinced he's on the same wavelength.

He's wasted chances with whomever he's played, mbut he'll get more quality chances with Dimi. Tbh, I can't stand the dude, but he could do a job.

And Dimitri has moved central and looks strikingly like Zidane spraying the ball every which way.

Well done Dimi. Another worldie.

If they'd brought on Pele, Russell Osman & John Wark at half time like they were supposed too...., well we all know the outcome.
