Germany are bloody impressive, time after time they just produce. France holding on, looking for an unlikely mistake or some brilliance.

WTF was Dimi doing? He'd be better off just staying forward.

France need Kante in there and unfortunately I think it's Dimi that needs to come off.

I agree Pete, but think it will be Sissoko.
Payet needs just one minute of brilliance to score as we all know and that maybe enough.

Dimi taken off of free kicks. I'm afraid he looks completely out of gas.

Payet hasn't been great but then that's the case for most of the French players, almost all of them have given the ball away cheaply. I think their formation is wrong for this game, they just need to get to half time at 0-0 currently.

Umtiti has been France's best player

Giroud , an excellent example of a flat track bully.

Looks good against shitty small teams but can't live with these boys

And as fast as my Nan.

Germany concede a penalty, and France take the lead totally against the run of play.

Italian ref, hardly a pen and how he saw it from there is frankly miraculous.

I have to say, that pen call was brave and correct. Big brass ones by the officials and a great call.

It might be harsh, but there are no reasons for his hands to be up like that, so actually I think it's a good decision.

I think the ref indicated it was given by his official behind the goal

Not at all how I thought it would be. German lack of pace would struggle vs French flair. Penno was fair enough but I now think France are shagged despite being one up. Dimi off?
