I'd be surprised, whilst Sissoko has done well, I think if he's going to bring Kante back in the side it would be for him.

Greasyman will take player of the tournament now though I expect.

I bet it does. He got relieved of corner kick and free kick taking in the first half and if he's not taking those he's basically lost his purpose.

Gignac is a donkey. Glad we didn't sign him.

We didn´t had any problems so we created our own. In the end a deserved win for France and anything but the title would surprise me a lot. Nevertheless any loss by West Ham or Frankfurt (my home team) hurts more, much more. :scarfer:

Sissoko has been non stop tonight.

I think Payet is going to be rather unhappy come the final....

This is the real final tonight. I think Sunday should be a formality.

All that possession Germany had. Got to say Lloris was superb.

Dimi's legs looked to be gone. He looked completely out of gas from the opening whistle. I hope he gets to play in the final but it won't surprise me if he doesn't.

Would be very harsh. I think he will start as he is replaced by central midfielders. If he would have been subbed by either Martial or Colman and they played a blinder it would have been a very different story.

He built up some credit leading up to the tournament and the past few games.

By the way: Payet was pretty rubbish tonight, but he attracted 2 players to him all night long.....

It would be harsh but Deschamps m.o. in this competition is to stay with what works, and things worked immediately after Dimi came off. I hope I'm wrong and that our boy gets the opportunity but like I said, it wouldn't surprise me. Of course if the Portageeze decide to sit back then Dimi is suited to that, so who knows.

Nice to see Schweinsteiger giving away a penalty , silly boy - Griezeman is the player you want to take a penalty and was in exactly the right place when Neuer flapped at the ball - Griezeman is a natural , very intelligent player , it was no coincidence he was there to poke the ball home , a good striker anticipates everything and Griezeman is a good striker .

Hope the French win it now .

France rode their luck just a little and our lad disappeared more and more as the game progressed but even so I think the French just about deserved it. And anyway, all those unhappy Germans at the whistle on the pitch and in the stands - I'll take that any day of the week.

You mean the game plan to let Germany completely dominate the first half and then win a controversial penalty just before half time to completely change the game and then get the Germans to make a complete hash of defending to seal the game. That's some planning!

France started off the way they wanted to and how Deschamps planned it but the Germans than took control but without the striker to capitalise on their superiority. France got lucky with the pen as that was the turning point but they defended well throughout and ultimately that won them the game.

If you are going to be a manager/coach, be a lucky one.

Glad France did it, they "should" beat Portugal comfortably.
