Honestly have no idea, just want us to have a proper go with no fear, and see where that takes us.

All teams that win the World cup have a great keeper who can be relied upon in the "moment". We won't win it on that basis but could reach the quarters if we play well but it'll be good night as soon as they run into someone who has a bit of know how e.g. rolling round the floor / game management.

I just let it go and see what happens, that's the best way and avoids disappointment - it would help the players to think that way as well as it eases the pressure.

Wherever it is, I know it will end in tears for English fans, and I will laugh and laugh.

And laugh.

Having looked at a few different options, I don't see our Round of 16 game being too tough.

However, every way I look at it, we face Germany in the Quarter Finals...and that will be that.

I think we are due a good tournament so I'm going to go with semi-finals. That way the press can over hype our chances for the next tournament after that and label these players the diamond generation.

If we fail to win the group we will almost certainly land Germany in the quarters. Which would suck.

I'm hoping that we can hammer Tunisia and Panama and go into the Belgium game with a better GD and secure a draw to win the group. We'd then be rewarded with Brazil in the quarters! :?

You never know we might end up with Mexico and Hernandez sticks three goals past England! We hang on to him and he goes back to being distinctively average next season, queuing pages and pages of discussion how we don't set up for the best of his abilities!

Genuinely don't understand foreign fans of an English club that despise England fans :?

How do you come to support a team that’s history is interwoven with its national team deeper than almost any other, and yet find enjoyment in that national team and it’s supporters (including many WHU ones at that), enduring disappointment?

c***ish behaviour in my opinion

That group is almost a free pass to the next round, where England will then go out. If Pickford starts he'll make a mistake which will stick with him for years.

This England team isn't Bobby Moore's team anymore.

And Harry Kane is a ****.

I got nothing but love for English fans (except Spurs and Millwall) but the rage when England lose is hilarious.

Like most others, I think getting to the Quarters will be considered a success.
If we get out of the group (which we should) then facing Colombia would send us home in the last 16. They are my dark horses.

If you read, people's expectations are pretty limited this time round.

I find people’s willingness to tell everyone they hate England rather sad. It’s pretty simple, don’t watch them and take your wife shopping when they play. Everyone’s happy.
