Good header, but perhaps an undeserved victory. (If Egypt don't score in the stoppage)

Looks twice the player to me, which might be the problem.

Wasn't the greatest game to watch. On paper Uruguay's attack should have been able to cut through Egypt. Definitely won't be remembered by many.

Suarez is still a good player but nowhere near what he was a couple of years ago. Always sad to watch such great players decline.

Normally the eventual winners start the competition slowly but gain momentum as it progresses. Despite a stuttering performance, I still think Uruguay are going to be a threat to others and will get better. Today, they still found a way as all the top sides do.I remember Italy being truly dreadful throughout the group stages in 1982, but they did just that, found a way without winning a group match and then Paolo Rossi undid Brazil at the round of 16 and the overwhelming favourites went home and cue MarcoTardelli with that now unforgettable goal celebration, the best of all time, in the final

He was possibly the worst player on the pitch in that game
